Medina, Idaho

Medina is an ghost town in Elmore County, Idaho, and Owyhee County, Idaho, United States. Medina is located on the Idaho State Highway 78. It is 15.57 mi (25.06 km) away from Hammett, Idaho. Medina has a Riverfront Services building.

History

The ghost town was created by a family, the Johnson family, who owned a plot of land near the Riverfront Services in Medina. The Johnson family had built the house and small barn from scratch. The house was later demolished after the family moved to Hammett, Idaho. However, a tractor company purchased the land previously owned by the Johnson family and have been operating the Riverfront Services LLC company for 13 years.
